9 Must-Have Beauty Items for Travelling

Over the last couple of years I’ve come to rely on some pretty great beauty products while travelling and my everyday life. I’ve always been really picky with the products I use because I have extremely sensitive skin. These tried and true products come with me on every trip I take.

  • Neutrogena Wipes: These are hands-down my favourite make-up removing wipes and I make sure to bring them on every trip. They aren’t too harsh for my sensitive skin and they do a great job removing your make-up without making your skin feel dirty or greasy.
  • Aveeno Moisturizer: Aveeno moisturizer is the only moisturizer I’ve been using for the last decade and definitely have no plans of changing that. The moisturizer isn’t scented so my skin doesn’t react to it and it doesn’t go on greasy like other moisturizers.
  • Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm: I’ve been using this lip balm for about as long as I can remember. I’ve tried just about every lip balm on the market and I still always find myself reaching for my Soft Lips lip balm.
  • Tula Rose Glow Eye Balm: Tula’s Rose Glow Eye Balm is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up or great for after a long flight. They eye balm awakens and brightens your undereye making you feel and look more awake.
  • Tula Face Primer: Tula’s face primer is perfect for your make-up free days. I’ve recently started going make-up free on days I’m travelling as it is exhausting and I always feel dingy after getting to my destination and prefer to do my make-up once I check-in to my hotel. Tula’s face primer gives your skin an even sun-kissed glow that is perfect for make-up free days.
  • Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I’ve only been using this mask for a couple months now but it has easily become one of my favourite products. I’ve always found I have really dry lips, which I find really noticeable when I wear lipstick. Ever since I started using this mask my lips aren’t nearly as dried out and my lipstick lasts much longer.
  • Olehenriksen C-Rus Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer: This moisturizer hydrates for up to 24 hours and diminishes the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It is definitely more of a splurge but in my opinion it its definitely worth it and most skincare products are fairly pricey.
  • Tarte Concealer: I’ve tried quite a few different concealers but Tarte’s Creaseless Concealer is one of my favourites. It doesn’t go on too thick, which is great because I don’t like it feeling like my make-up is caked on and the coverage is great.
  • Urban Decay Setting Spray: Urban Decay makes one of my favourites setting sprays. It goes on light and lasts all day – I definitely see a noticeable difference between days I use the setting spray and days I don’t. Usually when travelling I do my make-up first thing in the morning and sometimes don’t return to my hotel for 8-12 hours so I want to make sure my make-up lasts all day and fade too quickly.
