Miami has tons of great neighbourhoods to stay in but I was dead set on staying in South Beach. I was initially drawn to South Beach because of how close it is to the beach and the incredible nightlife.
Uma House by Yurbban South Beach (formerly The Redbury South Beach)
The Redbury came up in quite a few blog posts when I was researching where I wanted to stay in South Beach. I was completely blown away with the Redbury from the second I walked in the door. Upon walking in the door we were promptly greeted and offered a cold bottle of water. Our room ended up being upgraded due to my reward status with Expedia, which was pretty cool. The staff were all very helpful and informative with tons of great suggestions.
Our upgraded room was more than I ever expected! The room was extremely spacious and the bathroom was HUGE! This was definitely the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in.
The Redbury has rooftop pool and bar that offer views of Collins Avenue and is a great place to cool off if you’re looking to escape the crowded beaches. The Redbury is also home to Cleo, a Mediterranean restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a great social hour from 5 -7 p.m.
The Redbury also partners with Delano Hotel for access to their beachfront and lounge chairs. There is an additional charge if you would like to rent an umbrella so keep that in mind when hitting up the beach.
All in all the Redbury was a fantastic hotel with great service, great location and not overly prices for South Beach. I would definitely recommend checking out the Redbury if you’re planning a stay in South Beach.
