Food Guide to Corfu, Greece

Corfu is home to a ton of great restaurants so choosing one can be difficult. This guide will help you narrow down the best restaurants to eat at while you’re in Corfu.

Avli Restaurant

Avli is a traditional Greek tavern and was my first meal in Corfu. This traditional Greek restaurant is serving up delicious authentic meals you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the water. Everything was fresh and tasty. This restaurant is a must while in Corfu.

Bellissimo

Bellissimo is another authentic Greek restaurant that came highly recommended to me. They have a large menu serving up so many tasty options. The restaurant is located at the end of a narrow cobble alleyway that open up onto a quiet square and is a great place to enjoy a meal.

Margherita Pizza Artigianale Corfu

This pizza place came highly recommended to me and was a great way to take a break from all the Greek food I had been eating. There is a ton of different pizzas to choose from and they all sounded so good. The crust was light and airy so it would be a good option for lunch or dinner.

Pane E Souvlaki

Pane E Souvlaki is very well known for their souvlaki and is arguably one of the best restaurants in Corfu. This is definitely a must stop while in Corfu. Everything is so fresh and tasty. You will not be disappointed.

La Famiglia

This Italian restaurant is cooking up some amazing pasta dishes that have you thinking you’re in Italy. It is a great place to go if you’re looking for a break from all the Greek food you’ve been eating on vacation. You also can’t leave here without trying the tiramisu!

Ninos

If you’re looking for a good gyro while in Corfu then this is definitely the place to go. It’s a tiny restaurant with limited seating but it is definitely worth it. The gyros here are delicious and different than any gyro you’ve ever had. Gyros in Corfu are made with a special red sauce that sets them apart from the other Greek islands.

Papagiorgis Patiserie – Gelateria

I’m not going to lie.. I stopped in for ice cream every day I was in Corfu. The ice cream was delicious and they had tons of different flavours to try. It also isn’t just an ice cream shop. There was a wide selection of bakery items and I heard the baklava was fantastic.
