Zakynthos is a stunning Greek island known for its crystal-clear water and beautiful landscapes. It is also home to some pretty great restaurants. There is a wide range of restaurants from traditional Greek taverns to modern eateries. This island has a very impressive range of restaurants and you won’t be disappointed.
Nobelos Bio Restaurant
Nobelos came highly recommended to me by several people and did not disappoint. The restaurant does have limited space so you will want to make sure you make a reservation. It is located inside a hotel with a mini beach club on a small private beach. If you want to get a sunbed, make sure you arrive in the morning.
To Diafokereiko
This traditional family-run restaurants serves up some really great food. It has been in business since the 1600s. This is a must try while on the island. You will not be disappointed by the food and may even have to go back before you leave.
Olive Tree Restaurant
Olive Tree Restaurant offers fresh farm-to-table mediterranean dishes with all locally grown produce. As the name suggests, olives and olive oil are their specialty. Their olive oil is produced from olive trees belonging to the family for 140 years. This was a great spot to eat and I loved the outdoor patio surrounded by lush greenery.
Gyroland
Gyroland is the perfect spot to stop for lunch and enjoy an authentic gyro. The food is delicious and cheap so you won’t be disappointed. The souvlaki is another great option if you don’t feel like a gyro.
Keri Lighthouse Restaurant
This restaurant offers some of the most incredible views on the island to enjoy while eating your meal. They serve great food too but you’ll definitely be going for the view you’ll be enjoying.
Porto Limnionas Tavern
This is a great spot to have lunch if you’re spending the day at Porto Limnionas Beach. The restaurant offers good food at a half decent price with great views of the water. They have a large menu with tons of great options.
Mythos Restaurant
This cocktail bar offers a great view over the water with delicious cocktails and a small menu with tasty food options. This is a great option if you are in the Keri area. Bonus: dogs are allowed at this cocktail bar so you may see a pup or two while here.
